Our commitment
Max InTuition is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing and personal data of every child and family in our care. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and all our staff complete safeguarding training annually.
What data we collect
We collect the minimum personal information needed to deliver tuition: child name, year group, school, parent contact details, attendance records, marks, and any optional notes you provide. We do not collect or share medical or sensitive data unless you choose to disclose it.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to: (a) deliver tuition, (b) communicate with you, (c) provide progress reports, (d) issue invoices. We never sell or rent personal data to third parties.
Where data is stored
All data is stored on secure UK/EU servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is strictly role-based.
Safeguarding
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is available at hi@maxintuition.co.uk. Concerns about a child's welfare are taken seriously and acted upon promptly. Private safeguarding notes are visible only to authorised staff.
Data retention
We retain academic records for 3 years after a student's last lesson, after which records are securely deleted. Parents may request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time. Email us at hi@maxintuition.co.uk with the subject line "Data request".
Cookies
We use only essential cookies for the LMS portal (authentication). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
